    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced and windowboxed 1.66:1 DVD picture should be quite pleasing for the younger audience, but the animation is much simpler than the original Tarzan. The picture appears less dimensional and, occasionally, looks carelessly sketched. That said, the picture offers rich, solid colors and deep blacks. There are few distractions in the way of pixelization or edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
