DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits pleasing sharpness and detail, though contrast seems a bit low. Colors are slightly muted and look a bit dated but can appear well balanced, nonetheless. Fleshtones appear accurate and blacks are quite deep. Whites are often blown out, creating a hazy appearance. The source element is revealing of a few artifacts and occasional film grain. There is little in the way of edge enhancement or pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)

Soundtrack:
The Dolby Digital 5.1-channel remastered soundtrack features, as would be expected, repurposed surround sound music which is spatially prominent in nature, though also with somewhat limited separation in the surrounds. The music by far is the spatially dominant element of this soundtrack. Otherwise, the audio is limited in spatiality, and the dialogue, while amply clear and intelligible, exhibits the original recording
