Story Synopsis:
Based on the novel by Joseph Finder, attorney Claire Kubik
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits images that are sharp and detailed, with good contrast and shadow delineation. Colors are rich and powerful, with filtering that can give the picture a warm wash of golden hues or a cold, harsh blue appearance. The scenes that depict the incident 15 years earlier are stylized with hot colors and high contrast, and film grain and artifacts to add a gritty texture. Edge enhancement can be a problem, and there is also some pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
