DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a slightly dated picture, but one that exhibits satisfying sharpness and detail. At times, the picture has a slightly smeared appearance. Colors are nicely saturated, with accurate fleshtones and generally deep blacks. However, there are some scenes which have an undersaturated, dull color scheme. The source element is quite clean, with few artifacts. There is only minor edge enhancement and pixelization to complain about.
