DVD Picture:
Fear not Cult fans, the first few minutes of sepia-toned artifact-ridden images do not represent what the concert footage looks like (though this type of photography, as well as black-and-white, are used for different stylizations). When the curtain drops, the anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD bleeds into full color, revealing an excited crowd beneath blue stage lighting, natural fleshtones and deep blacks. While the picture has a slightly soft appearance, fans will likely be banging their heads too much to notice. Minor shimmering and aliasing artifacts are noticed on stage. Some may notice a slight shaking inherent in the filming. (Suzanne Hodges)
