DVD Picture:
If you can avoid getting dizzy by the handheld camera following Fatboy Slim through the crowd and to the stage at the beginning of the movie, you will find that the anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD offers generally acceptable images for the dusk till dark performance. Contrast seems a bit low as night falls, but the stage and spot lighting provide enough visual information for the performance. Images can be a bit soft, and sometimes downright blurry. Funky camera angles and filters add to the fun. Slim and his fans are absolutely enjoying themselves, despite minor aliasing problems and occasional pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
