WSR Narrative Review

Story Synopsis:
A sequel of sorts to the Arnold Schwarzenegger hit of 1987, but sans Arnold. It

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD is generally sharp and detailed, with satisfying contrast and shadow delineation. The picture has a bit of a dated quality, but, in general, colors are fully saturated, with slightly brownish fleshtones and deep blacks. Viewing in a completely blackened room is recommended for optimal viewing and heightened suspense in the darker scenes. Some smearing and occasional loss of finer details appears to be related to noise reduction. There is also some minor edge enhancement and pixelization, and the source element is revealing of some artifacts and dirt. (Suzanne Hodges)
