    Story Synopsis:
    "Brown Sugar" tells the story of friends Dre (Diggs), a hip hop record label executive, and magazine editor Sidney (Lathan), who have known each other since they were kids. They can attribute their friendship and the launch of their careers to the moment in their childhood when they discovered hip-hop on a New York street corner.     DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture is sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered contrast and shadow delineation. Hues are rich and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. The picture has a smooth, easy appearance that has few distractions in the way of pixelization, though some bothersome edge enhancement is noticed at times.
