The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture is sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered contrast and shadow delineation. Hues are rich and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. The picture has a smooth, easy appearance that has few distractions in the way of pixelization, though some bothersome edge enhancement is noticed at times.
