    Story Synopsis:
    Actor Fisher Stevens (Short Circuit) takes a stab at directing with Just A Kiss, a dark romantic comedy which intermingles live action with selective rotomation (digital animation of the film

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a stylish picture, with an interesting blend of traditional photography and animated or partially animated images of the actual film footage. While images can be sharp and detailed, some scenes can appear softly focused or slightly smeared. Contrast and shadow delineation are satisfying. Colors are nicely balanced with accurate fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks, though whites can appear blown-out in exterior scenes. There is little in the way of bothersome edge enhancement or pixelization. Minor flecks of dirt are noticed in the source element. (Suzanne Hodges)
