DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a sharp and nicely detailed picture, with pleasing contrast. Some scenes can be quite dim, but shadow delineation is quite capable when viewed in a completely blackened room. The color scheme is warm and balanced, with accurate fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks. Pixelization causes some breakup of finer details, and, occasionally, minor edge enhancement is noticed.
