Story Synopsis:
Since their 1975 debut album, sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson have been writing and performing their music along with their band, Heart. Live from their hometown, "Heart: Alive In Seattle" is something not to be missed. The "Wild Child" isn't "Alone" on stage but is accompanied by her "Sister Wild Rose" and the rest of the band. The "Magic Man" joins in to bring their audience a little piece of "Heaven," and it's obvious that the "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" in the crowd are "Crazy on You" girls! (Tricia Littrell)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture offers a stage performance that is perfectly capable of satisfying longtime fans of Heart. Colors are eye-popping with the deep blue curtain draped in the background and vibrant red and green lava lamps and stage lighting. Some minor smearing is noticed, but sharpness is generally pleasing overall. Viewing on a larger home theatre display could amplify some undesirable shimmering and aliasing problems with guitar strings and drum cymbals. (Suzanne Hodges)
