    Story Synopsis:
    Based on the popular television program, created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts, that ran for five seasons from 1976 through 1981, "Charlie

    DVD Picture:
    This new anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 Superbit DVD exhibits a picture that slightly improves upon the previously released DVD. Bold, vibrant colors abound and perfectly complement the fun storytelling. Fleshtones are accurately rendered and blacks are deep and solid, with no distracting bleeding or smearing. Images are sharp, with subtle improvements in definition and finer details in the backgrounds. Shadow delineation is excellent. The picture is quite solid, with slightly smoother imagery. As with the previous DVD, edge enhancement can occasionally be a problem. (Suzanne Hodges)
