The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a boldly colored picture that can slightly push oversaturation at times, with fleshtones appearing a bit reddish. Otherwise, the color scheme can be well balanced, with bright colors and deep blacks. Images are generally sharp, though the smearing or loss of finer details is occasionally noticed. Edge enhancement is an occasional nuisance, especially in the higher contrast scenes, and minor pixelization is detected.
