Story Synopsis:

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a picture that is eerily sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered textures and definition. Colors are quite rich and solid, with sickly greens, bloody reds, and endless blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation allow for plenty of scares in the dim scenes. Peppered with grainy black-and-white scenes that resemble archival stock footage and vintage television horror shows, the picture is otherwise quite clean with only a few scratches or flecks of dirt in the source element. A discriminating eye might notice a slight bit of edge enhancement in the brighter scenes, and pixelization is also minimal. (Suzanne Hodges)
