As is common for documentaries, the picture is sourced from various elements, with quality that ranges from satisfying, to gritty, to downright poor archive footage of basketball games. Opening and peppered with gritty, grainy images of a basketball court, the anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture offers new interviews of satisfying appearance. Scratches and flecks of dirt are noticed in many of the stock footage sequences. For the genre, the picture is quite acceptable. (Suzanne Hodges)
