DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture is quite lovely, with a perfectly saturated color palette. Hues are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, with no signs of smearing. Distractions are minimal, though edge enhancement and pixelization are present and will be noticed by discriminating viewers. Overall, this is a very nicely rendered DVD. (Suzanne Hodges)
