Story Synopsis:
Anna Coleman (Lohan) is a normal teenager who's going crazy living with her mother Tess (Curtis) and her little brother Harry (Ryan Malgarini). The night before the rehearsal dinner for Tess's upcoming wedding the family goes to a Chinese restaurant for dinner, and the two have an argument like none other. Not happy with what she's witnessing, the restaurant owner slips mother and daughter each a magic fortune cookie, and when they wake up the next morning they discover that it's one Freaky Friday. They have literally switched places; each is inside the other's body, and it's going to take a miracle to get them back where they belong! Based on the book by Mary Rodgers. One wonders why Disney chose not to release the original "Freaky Friday" simultaneously. (Tricia Littrell)
