Story Synopsis:
With stages set up "270 Miles From Graceland" and featuring 23 live performances, "Bonnaroo 2003" is a must-have for music lovers. Jack Johnson, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Widespread Panic, Nickle Creek, Sonic Youth, James Brown, and The Allman Brothers Band are only a fraction of those who performed at this festival from June 12 through June 15, 2003. DVD Picture:
The 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a compilation of concert performances, presented in non-anamorphic widescreen. Naturally, the imagery varies due to multiple camera sources and ranges from generally satisfying to downright poor quality. The picture can be generally sharp or soft and undefined. Colors are often nicely balanced or slightly oversaturated, with vibrant colors and deep, but undefined blacks. Distractions like noise, aliasing, and artifacts are noticed and are especially obtrusive on larger home theatre displays.
