Story Synopsis:
Camp Ovation is a summer getaway for young aspiring actors and musicians. Vlad (Letterle) is one of the happy campers and the best guitar player around. He is in constant need of attention, and Ellen (Chilcoat) certainly gives him plenty, but Michael (De Jesus) thinks that the guy is pretty hot too. In the end, though, the whole group of kids get together and put on a really good show for their final day of camp. (Tricia Littrell)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a color palette that is quite vivid, often bordering oversaturation with reddish fleshtones at times, bold hues, and deep, but often undefined blacks. The HD-originated picture is sharp and nicely detailed, with satisfying contrast and shadow delineation. There are a few scenes that appear softly focused or smeared. Pixelization is noticed, giving the picture a digital appearance at times, but edge enhancement is not much of a problem. (Suzanne Hodges)
