Story Synopsis:
Bored to death with spending his time sitting on a park bench feeding pigeons all day, Joe (Burns) decides that he and his friends need a little excitement in their lives. DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits a nicely saturated color scheme with accurate fleshtones, warm hues, and deep blacks. Only occasionally do fleshtones appear a bit reddish. Images are generally sharp, with satisfying details and definition. Edge enhancement is occasionally noticed, but is rarely much of a distraction. Pixelization is also quite minor. The source element is revealing of a few flecks of dirt and occasional scratches. Overall, this picture is surprisingly pleasing for the age of the film. (Suzanne Hodges)
