    Story Synopsis:
    Priding himself on his reputation with younger women, Harry Sanborn (Nicholson) joins his girlfriend Marin (Peet) at her mother

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits a warm, glowing appearance that enhances the relaxing setting in the Hamptons. Colors are beautifully saturated, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. While nicely detailed, much of the picture has a stylized soft, hazy appearance that causes glowing lamps, window light, and candle flames. Contrast and shadow delineation are also nicely rendered. Overall, the picture has a soft, easy-on-the-eyes appearance that is quite appealing. Finicky viewers might notice some minor edge enhancement, but will be hard-pressed to be distracted. Pixelization and smearing are also quite minor. A few flecks of dust are detected in the source element. (Suzanne Hodges)
