The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVDs for this entire collection exhibit images that can be sharp and detailed, though many scenes are soft or have a hazy appearance. Colors are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and generally deep blacks. At times, contrast can seem slightly low, but shadow delineation appears to be quite natural.
