    Story Synopsis:
    Boxing legend Muhammad Ali (Smith) thrilled the world with his groundbreaking boxing victories in the

    DVD Picture:
    With an appearance that is virtually identical to the previously released DVD (reviewed in Issue 61), except for the additional scenes, the anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD exhibits a stylized picture. Images often have a look that can be likened to stock footage, though the picture is quite clean. Colors can be rich and deeply saturated, especially for the boxing match segments, yet the story moves forward with a somewhat desaturated visual style. Different film stocks were used, with the flashback scenes shot to have a more grainy appearance to separate them from the present-tense scenes. The picture often lacks depth and definition into the backgrounds and darker scenes, and intentionally lacks the polished look of a
