DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture is perfectly suitable for the light storytelling, featuring bright and colorful images that are well balanced with natural fleshtones and deep blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered textures and definition. Contrast and shadow delineation are also quite satisfying. Minor edge enhancement is noticed, but pixelization is not a problem with this title. Occasionally the picture has a soft look, but no smearing is detected. (Suzanne Hodges)
