Story Synopsis:
Before learning of a terrible secret at the cosmetics company where she worked, Patience Phillips (Berry) was a quiet and unassuming young woman. However, after an unfortunate incident, the purrfectly proper person turned into someone else; someone known as "Catwoman," the most sexy super hero of them all. Policeman Tom Lone (Bratt) was attracted to the shy and beautiful Patience, but when chaos hit his city Tom's instinct led him to the pretty kitty, making him suspicious of his lady love. Based on characters created by Bob Kane and published by DC Comics. (Tricia Littrell)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture is sharp and detailed, with very nicely rendered details and textures. The many night scenes are striking, with deep blacks and excellent shadow delineation. Colors are nicely saturated, with accurate fleshtones and rich hues, often awash in golden overtones. Only occasionally do colors appear milky. There are rare instances in which edge enhancement is noticed. Pixelization is also generally minor. (Suzanne Hodges)
