    Story Synopsis:
    It all began when a beautiful alien lifeform was unleashed into the world, and now the alien's lovely daughter Eve (Henstridge) is more determined than ever to take over the earth. Will she finally succeed in "Species III" or are we destined to more fun in another installment? (Tricia Littrell)

    DVD Picture:
    The 1.78:1 DVD picture has a somewhat undersaturated appearance with somewhat of a hazy filtered look causing milky blacks. While sometimes colors can appear generally well-saturated, hues seem a bit mundane. The picture also has a gritty texture that is a bit lacking in natural openness and clarity. Sharpness and detail are satisfying, though some smearing is noticed (but this comment is not referring to the

    Soundtrack:
    With most of the audio information across the front three screen channels, surrounds are only used to create a more ambient feeling, which for the most part succeeds in this regard. Voices sound veiled and muted, but are generally natural sounding, using the front left and right channels to match the voices to their settings. Imaging is fantastic, with good use of each of the channel-to-channel vectors. The entire soundtrack is extremely weak in the low end, with hardly any use of the LFE channel. (Danny Richelieu)
