No matter how many times Marietta tries to have Sailor eliminated, he keeps on coming back to Lula. Based upon the novel by Barry Gifford. (Suzanne Hodges)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits stylized images that are visually complementary to the hallucinatory tale. Colors are well-saturated, with natural fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks. While images can be very nicely textured, much of the movie has a soft glow. Contrast and shadow delineation are satisfactory throughout. While edge enhancement is rarely a problem with this picture, there is occasional pixel breakup. Fans of David Lynch
