Story Synopsis:
The China Syndrome is a tense thriller about an attempted cover-up of an accident at a nuclear power plant. The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture appears to be virtually identical to the previously released DVD (Issue 33), if a little bit cleaner. Sharpness and detail are satisfying, with nicely rendered textures. Contrast and shadow delineation are well balanced.
