    Story Synopsis:
    After hitting his 3,000th base hit and becoming eligible for the Hall of Fame, Stan Ross (Mac) quit the Milwaukee Brewers in the middle of the season. However, nine years later it was discovered that three of Ross's hits were disqualified, making him uneligible for his place in the Hall of Fame. So, the arrogant and aging "Mr. 3000" decided to head back to the ballpark and get those three hits, but what he discovered once he got there was something no one would ever have imagined possible, least of all Stan Ross himself.     DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits pleasing image quality, with a satisfying color scheme that is naturally balanced, Fleshtones appear accurately rendered and colors are rich and vibrant, with deep solid blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered facial and clothing textures. The picture is quite clean and smooth, with little in the way of film grain and no distracting dirt or artifacts. There is a bit of pixelization noticed at times that causes minor detail breakup, but edge enhancement is limited. (Suzanne Hodges)

    Widescreen Review is my favorite magazine because it is different from all the other A/V magazines. The ads are better, and it seems like all the others (that I subscribe to) have the same boring ads. You also have better product information in your equipment reviews. I love the DVD New Release section. It tells me how much I have to save up for DVD purchases. My favorite section is the Coming Soon To A Retailer Near You section. I have learned so much from this magazine I use information from it every day of my life. I am an A/V fanatic. (ask my wife). Anyway, I will subscribe to this mag forever. Thanks for such a great magazine
