Story Synopsis:
After screwing up his latest job, burglar Jack Clayton (Danza) skips town in a Santa suit and ends up in Evergreen. Noelle Gibson (Goethals) meets him at the bus stop and assumes that he's there to work for her mother Sarah (Thompson) on their Christmas tree farm. With his eyes on the local bank, Jack gets his partner Harry (David Parker) a job and has him start casing the joint. But Harry has a sudden change of heart and decides that he wants no part of "Stealing Christmas" from those he has come to love, no matter what the consequences may be for him. (Tricia Littrell)
DVD Picture:
This is a fine 1.78:1 DVD picture to enjoy this holiday season. Presented in anamorphic widescreen, images are sharp and detailed with nicely rendered textures and definition. Colors are rich and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones, vibrant holiday reds and greens, and deep blacks. Some of the darker scenes are problematic, exhibiting noticeable image breakup, but otherwise the picture is quite smooth and pleasing. Minimal edge enhancement is noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
