DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits a well balanced color scheme. fleshtones appear very natural, and blacks are deep and solid, while hues are complementary to the setting of the story. Images exhibit good sharpness and detail, and textures can be nicely rendered. Some scenes are softly focused, but there is minimal smearing. Film grain and some minor artifacts are inherent in the source element. There is only minor pixelization but very little in the way of edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
