DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.38:1 DVD picture (with occasional scenes pillarboxed at 2.00:1) exhibits rich colors that are nicely saturated and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, though some scenes appear to be slightly lacking in fine textures. There is little in the way of bothersome edge enhancement, but pixelization is occasionally noticed.
