Story Synopsis:
Hello, "My Name Is Nobody," (Hill) he said to his hero Jack Beauregard (Fonda). Believing that Jack is the only hope for law and order in the west, Nobody is upset to learn that Beauregard is ready to give it all up. But he accepts Jack's decision and convinces him that he has to go out in style in a final showdown. With a gunfight worthy of a place in the history books, Nobody still isn't satisfied and demands one more face-off from his idol. And the outcome of that fight is a surprise for everyone, everyone but Nobody and Jack that is. From an idea of Sergio Leone. (Tricia Spears)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits a look typical of old westerns. Lots of browns fill the color scheme, giving a visual feel for that dusty environment in the days of the outlaws. The picture is generally sharp, but finer details are lacking. Distractions come in the way of pixel breakup, detail loss, stairstepping, and shimmering artifacts, as well as some edge halos. Some dirt is noticed in the source element. Still, this classic film is not to be missed and this DVD is the best version of My Name Is Nobody to have passed through the door into Widescreen Review
