Story Synopsis:
In "The Glass Shield" a female officer (Petty) and the station's token black cop (Boatman) take on a corrupt police force after an innocent black man (Ice Cube) is framed for a murder he didn't commit. Based in part on the screenplay "One Of Us," the true story of John Eddie Johnson by Ned Welsh. (Tricia Spears)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture is peppered with stylized lighting, with some scenes completely awash in vivid blues, or highlighted with warm orange overtones. Images are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered textures. Still, there are some scenes that are a bit soft, at times. Although there is no blatant edge enhancement, some objects can have a slightly edgy appearance to them. Pixelizatio nis also minor. (Suzanne Hodges)
