Story Synopsis:
Chuka (Taylor) is a cowboy, a gunslinger, and a white man. After making peace with a starving tribe of Indians, he arrives at a nearby fort where he clashes with the commanding officer (Mills). While there Chuka makes it his business to try and make peace between the two enemies before the Indians decide to attack. Based on the novel by Richard Jessup. (Tricia Spears)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits a very soft picture overall. While some scenes exhibit adequate details, others appear excessively blurry. While the color scheme is quite dated, fleshtones can appear natural at times. Blacks are often deep and solid. The source element is revealing of scratches, artifacts, and dirt, but film grain is limited. Pixelization is minor and there is no bothersome edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
