DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits a gritty, edgy style that is complementary to the unsettling storytelling. Colors can be warm and well balanced or dark and ruddy. The picture is, at times, smeared and undefined, although other times imagery is sharp and nicely textured. Some pixelization is noticed, as well as occasional stairstepping or aliasing artifacts.
