Story Synopsis:
The award-winning PBS television program "Austin City Limits" first premiered in 1976. The "Music Festival 2004" was recorded live on September 17th, 18th, and 19th in Zilker Park, Austin, Texas and is the fourth annual live concert of the series. More than 130 bands performed on eight stages during the event to a daily crowd of 70,000 people. Highlights of the show are featured on this three-disc DVD/CD set, and with such a huge variety of music there's sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. (Tricia Spears)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture is perfectly suitable for the concert footage. Colors are nicely balanced and well saturated. The picture is generally sharp and nicely textured. A little bit of smearing is occasionally noticed, but overall this is a great looking concert DVD. (Suzanne Hodges)
