DVD Picture:
Compared to the previously released, non-anamorphic DVD, this new anamorphically enhanced 2.55:1 DVD picture exhibits subtle improvements, although the film seems long overdue for a five-star restoration. While color fidelity is not much changed over the previous DVD, delineation is preferred. Fleshtones are generally natural and colors can be rich. There is still some signs of smearing at times.
