DVD Picture:
Originally released on DVD in 1999 (reviewed in Issue 38), A River Runs Through It looks much better on this new anamorphically enhanced DVD. Details are cleaner and more precise, although some minor smearing is evident at times. Colors are fully saturated and naturally rendered, with deep blacks.
