With bright, vibrant hues and deep blacks, the anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture can be quite pleasing. Shadow delineation is impressive, and contrasts are well rendered. Details are not as sharp as the best DVD transfers, and minor edge enhancement can become bothersome. (Danny Richelieu)
