The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture exhibits well-balanced colors and well-resolved details. Blacks are slightly milky, and shadow delineation is not quite up to par, leaving detail in the darkest scenes difficult to make out. There is little in the way of pixel breakup or edge enhancement.
