Includes five minutes worth of unpassable, unskippable forced ads before the menu. Disc One also includes three House Of Fury Trailers. Disc Two is once again plagued by the same five minutes worth of up-front ads. A 45-minute behind the scenes featurette is added on Disc Two, as well as cast interviews (with Daniel Wu, Gillian Chung, Josie Ho, Michael Wong, and Stephen Fung), a 10-minute highlight on The Making Of House Of Fury with Master Yuen Wo Ping, and eight TV spots.
Story Synopsis:
Prepare to be wowed by the action assembled once again by master Yuen Wo Ping (fight choreographer for The Matrix and Kill Bill). Sometimes the tall tales told by fathers hold some truth, as Nicky (Fung) and Natalie (Chung) discover in House Of Fury. When they learn that their (Wong) still fights to protect retired agents
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.32:1 DVD picture can look quite good at times, with a nicely saturated color palette offering accurate fleshtones and adequate blacks. Images are generally sharp and detailed overall, although some scenes are softly focused and finer details can be lacking. There is occasional pixelization noticed, but rare instances of bothersome pixelization. Overall, this is a pleasing DVD transfer from Tai Seng Entertainment. (Suzanne Hodges)
