Before the car goes over the side, a snake-like monster escapes from her suitcase and attacks Ray, releasing its "Venom" into his body. Rising from the morgue table, the monster who was formerly Ray goes on a bloody rampage, leading a group of teens to investiage the old woman's suitcase and the voodoo magic that came from within. DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD picture exhibits appropriately dark imagery for the subject matter. Viewing in a completely blackened room is recommended for optimal visual information in the darkness. The color scheme is nicely saturated, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Sharpness and detail are also nicely rendered, with satisfying textures. Pixelization and edge enhancement are rarely a problem with this title, as the picture is quite clean and solid throughout. (Suzanne Hodges)
