Story Synopsis:
Boris Plotz (Molina) lost his chance with Betty Rhys-Jones (Blethyn) because he was too shy to ask her to dance in grade school. So she marries Coucillor Hugh (Pugh) and lives in an unhappy marriage. Yet when the spark of love is reignighted at Plotz's funeral home for the burial of Hugh's mother, Boris and Betty plot to fake her death so they can be together forever. But will be no easy feat to get the Undertaking of Betty past rival undertaker and funeral revivalist Frank Featherbed (Walken). (Suzanne Hodges)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.32:1 DVD exhibits adequate picture quality, with images that are generally sharp and detailed. Colors are richly saturated, if a bit over saturated at times. Minor edge halos are detected noticed, and pixelization and smearing are also occasional distractions. (Suzanne Hodges)
