Story Synopsis:
While house-sitting for his father, Charlie (Gummersall) spends the day partying with his girlfriend Paloma (Jover) and friends Joe (Bailey) and Cassandra (Bibb). After his dad calls with bad news concerning his mother, the day takes a drastic turn for the worse, and Charlie and his friends go on a binge that ends with extreme consequences. "The Young Unknowns" was inspired by the stage play "Magic Afternoon" by Wolfgang Bauer. (Tricia Spears)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits varying image quality, at times appearing adequately sharp and other times seeming extremely soft and undefined. Colors are nicely saturated, although contrast seem a bit low. Shadow delineation is nicely balanced. There are flecks of dirt and minor film grain inherent in the source element. Distractions are minor, with occasional pixelization and slight edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
