DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture generally looks good, with natural skin tones and well-rendered contrast and shadow delineation. This provides impressive detail in the dark scenes. But, the picture is a touch on the soft side for the most part, which can make it difficult to differentiate between textures. Whites can be blown-out, often causing bleeding. Edge enhancement is noticeable, often times annoyingly so, and can detract from the overall picture quality. (Danny Richelieu)
