Story Synopsis:
Having been called one of jazz's greatest ensembles, "Chick Corea & Origin" perform at the Blue Note Jazz Club for a little "Rendezvous In New York." Clearly enjoying themselves as they get into the beat of their own special sounds, the band puts on a performance that the audience won't soon forget. (Tricia Spears)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture is adequate in delivering the concert visuals. Depending on the camera angle, the picture can be sharp and well defined or slightly soft and undefined. Colors are nicely saturated, with deep black backgrounds. There are some minor shimmering artifacts noticed at times, but bit rate is quite high on average. Fans should be pleased. (Suzanne Hodges)
