DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits a varied quality, as can be expected from a collection of different sources. In general, the picture is slightly smeared, although adequately well resolved. Blacks are deep, and good shadow delineation can make for a dimensional image, but noticeable edge enhancement can flatten the image. (Danny Richelieu)
