Determined to reclaim her kingdom, she is unaware of the immediate danger that threatens her bedridden mother (Gil) and yet-to-be-born brother. Pan
DVD Picture:
With its golden color scheme, the anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD does not have the most accurate fleshtones, obviously a conscious decision by the filmmakers. Blacks are deep, and shadow delineation is good, making for a dimensional image. Details are captured well, and the image is generally void of any compression artifacts. Heavy film grain is noticeable throughout the presentation, and subtle stair-stepping artifacts can be noticed at times. Edge enhancement, while minor, can also be noticed. (Danny Richelieu)
