    Story Synopsis:
    The Kakuma refugee camp became home to tens of thousands of orphaned young men known as The Lost Boys of Sudan. They arrived after walking a thousand miles through the African wilderness to escape their country

    DVD Picture:
    Original footage in the anamorphically enhanced 1.83:1 DVD shows well-balanced contrast with bold colors and good shadow delineation. Some of the more vibrant hues can look unnaturally oversaturated, really popping from the screen. Naturally, as a documentary that also incorporates achieved footage, the picture can be hit or miss, but much of this material is cleaned up fairly well. Scenes shot at night look overly noisy. Pixel breakup and compression artifacts are very infrequent. Edge enhancement is noticeable at times, especially over high-contrast transitions. (Danny Richelieu)

    I started with the Ultimate Widescreen DVD Movie Guide and haven’t missed an issue since. I thought it would be nice to have a good resource for DVD reviews, but it’s turned into so much more. It’s to the point where if I don't see certain segments in the mag (new products, one installer, etc.), I feel a little disappointed. Please keep up the great work.
